I couldn't wait any longer. I had a rolling chassis, it needed to be rolled. The beginning of June 2007, the Hot Rod has be in
hibernation for nearly 2 years. It was time to wake it up. I cut it off the frame table and pushed it out in the driveway. I had to sit back
to admire it. The kids came home and Eddie was instantly trying to get in, but there was no door handle, and the door opened  the
wrong way. He looked confused but climbed in and didn't want to get out, so I joined him and Jenna. Jenna and I made some faux
headers out of posterboard and masking tape, painted them silver, to add to the look. Cory Spencer stopped by and said I needed
to make the box big enough for both wagons. Now its a car hauler.
I wanted to see how much lower it was so I parked my Ranger beside it again. Its nice and low. So I started cutting down my box
sides and building a frame work for the bed floor. And that brings us to the present time. July is full of car shows so I have ordered
more parts. When the car shows are done I will have plenty of work waiting. I will try to update this site at least once a month if not
more often. I have plenty of other projects that I plan to put up photos for. So STAY TUNED.
My first car, a '66 Mustang, that
my dad and I spent 2 years
rebuilding
I was 17 when we finished it. I
drove that thing everywhere. I
had big dreams in my early 20's
to pro-street it so I cut it apart
and couldn't afford to do it. So it
got traded for another project.
It was soon gone but never
forgotten. There is something
about your first car. I always
hated the fact that I let it go.
8 long years later I got the car
back in about the same shape
that it left in. The cool thing is
that the previous owner left it
registered in my name all but
three months before I got it
back. Now its on the To Do list
for Jenna or Eddie.
